The Beastie Boys new video/short film is the funniest thing I’ve seen in 2011. Do yourself a favor and take a moment to watch this and appreciate how old school bad asses can still be on top.
I’ve been talking to a lot of artists who detest twitter and other social media. I truly believe having a social media presence will HELP artists get more work. So do these people.

So thrilled that such a powerful documentary was recognized as the Tribeca audience favorite. It’s another win for Filipino cinema!
I caught a screening of Give Up Tomorrow, a Filipino documentary about a boy who was wrongfully imprisoned and became a victim of the backwards corruption the Filipino justice system had to offer. Go check this out at Tribeca, ASAP.

I’m a serious Nintendo head and couldn’t be more excited to see what they show us at E3.
Melanie Schiele is pretty darn swell. She won the virtual film fest at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2010 and this year she’s guest blogging for them. She also might be one of the sweetest girls in the game (I was introduced to her by my roommate, Katie Tibaldi, who generally only surrounds herself with stellar company).
